LG Kompressor Pet Care Upright Vacuum, Bagless, Red, LuV200R

Who designed this vacuum must have spent a lot of time to vacuum, because it solves all those annoying little details. Retractable cord? Check. Quick and easy access to the tools? Check. Easy to switch between carpet and hard floors? Check. Several levels of the roller brush, also easy to switch between? Check.

What really impressed me was the little things you never knew you wanted. While setting it up, I said to myself: "Oh, that's clever!" more than once. The hose is connected to the body with a magnet. Nozzle and upholstery brush is actually a tool - the brush glides over the slot to use. The expansion portion of the tube are, yes, I can not really explain it, but it's cool and easy to use! And I have no idea how it does it, but it's not the fringe on my rug all tangled up in the sweeper bar, so I do not switch to the hard floor to make the edges. Again, it is a small thing, but it makes a difference.

As for how it is sweeping, well, I've been a devoted Dyson for 8 years now. My carpet as clearly better after using the compressor and compressor LG Dyson puts to shame on the wooden floor. Dyson has always left a bit behind the gravel, but the compressor is left cleaner floor feeling that my bare feet. I have two cats - one long hair and one that throws a lot and the mill attachment made short in their beds.

The only downside is that it is a raw. Very heavy (LG website says it's 22 pounds) and my arm was actually a little tired after vacuuming my little apartment. But it is easy to maneuver despite weight, and frankly, I could use the exercise. Given that the LG is much cheaper than the cheapest Dyson and work better, yes, I am now a convert.

Edited to add: The more I use this vacuum, the more I like it. Anyone who ever got within 10 yards of tinsel know that things are everywhere and stays there. I did a project with glitter recently. To my surprise, this vacuum sucked up the sparkle on my carpet and hardwood floors without any problems on the first pass.
